Formed in 2001, Pharmacy Select is a comprehensive independent pharmacy backup purchasing program designed to support community pharmacies. A collaborative effort formed by the joining of two leading Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs): Independent Pharmacy Cooperative (IPC) and PPSC whose members have their primary wholesaler agreements through McKesson & Cencora.
Together, these two organizations bring decades of experience in the pharmacy industry. Pharmacy Select negotiates directly with manufacturers to offer competitive pricing and a comprehensive range of products to over 6,000 community pharmacies nationwide.
Pharmacy Select offers access to over 8,300 products, including both generic and branded medications. These medications are made available directly through your pharmacy’s existing ordering portal. This makes it easier for you to find the right products at competitive prices, ultimately improving your profitability and ability to serve your communities.
